Technologies for enhanced resilience and robustness of cyberphysical systems for critical infrastructure protection

Duration: 2026–2028

Description

The project aims to develop technologies to increase the resilience and robustness of cyber-physical systems for critical infrastructure protection, including automated robots, sensors, communication infrastructure, and situational awareness management and decision support systems. The project focuses on (i) interoperability between multiple robots, (ii) increased resilience of systems against harmful external influences (GNSS or communication outages and jamming), (iii) development of adaptable algorithms and sensors for operation in a wide range of climatic conditions, (iv) long-term autonomy - the ability to operate in a dynamic and changing environment, and (v) operator decision-making support using AI algorithms for big data processing with the ability to learn from operational data.
